This role is for a Sr. Recruiter to support the Field APJ organization. The recruiter will manage the full cycle recruiting process, build pipelines, and act as a talent advisor to leadership. Requires 8+ years of sales recruiting experience, preferably in software/startups, and bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage and drive the entire hiring process from sourcing to offer acceptance, craft a consistent and extraordinary hiring experience for candidates and internal client groups.
  2. Participate with the global recruiting team to develop, implement and execute recruiting strategies.
  3. Solidify relationships with Field leadership and serve as an advisor and partner to build healthy pipelines of stellar candidates and fill current openings.
  4. Be a passionate Elastic brand ambassador before, during, and after recruitment. You will help us build our talent brand in addition to our talent pipeline.
  5. Partner with other departments (Finance, Legal, etc) to drive the recruiting process.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of sales recruiting experience
  • Demonstrable experience recruiting for a software company, start-up experience is preferred
  • Ability to effectively articulate the Elastic value proposition and story to candidates
  • Ability to cold-call and establish relationships by phone, email, and social media channels
  • Experience collaborating with and influencing senior hiring managers and executives throughout the recruiting cycle
  • Authority in direct sourcing and effective interviewing techniques
  • Working knowledge of ATS tools and recruiting technologies
  • Bilingual in both English and Japanese.
