Sr. Remarketing Field Specialist

This role focuses on operational excellence in automotive remarketing, including trade-in valuation, vehicle logistics, and disposition. It requires strategic thinking, data analysis, and process improvement within the automotive or technology industry, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and customer satisfaction.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage trade-in valuation program with a balanced mindset of enabling new car sales while maximizing profitability.
  2. Manage wholesale disposition of non Rivian trade-ins.
  3. Provide regular updates and reports on inventory status, and partner performance.
  4. Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to achieve department and company KPI goals.
  5. Manage, train, and guide external partner relationships for the success of Rivian.

Skills

Required

  • 3-5+ years of operational experience in vehicle valuations, auction disposition strategies, transportation & logistics, DMV operations, lienholder communications
  • Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments and key stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain a constant feedback loop on developing processes
  • Experience in analyzing reports and creating action plans based on data
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite, Google Suite, Smartsheet, Salesforce
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed

Nice to have

  • Prior OEM or Dealer Remarketing experience
  • Prior experience with EV and Automotive Ecommerce
