This role is a Sr. Sales Engineer focused on Rubrik's cloud product line, specifically for Microsoft Azure. The primary responsibility is to provide technical direction and business guidance to the cloud product team, develop the go-to-market strategy, and manage technical pre-sales activities for key accounts. The role involves architecting and positioning Rubrik's cloud data management and security platform to customers, acting as a trusted technology advisor and public cloud subject matter expert. It also includes gathering customer feedback, qualifying sales opportunities, and collaborating with product management and sales enablement.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provides technical leadership and direction to Rubrik, customers, and prospects in the development and positioning Rubrik's cloud native data protection solutions for our Cloud Unstructured Data and Universal Cloud Licensing platforms.
  2. Serves as a trusted technology advisor to customers and serves as a public cloud subject matter expert when positioning Rubrik's cloud capabilities to key accounts.
  3. Leads technical sales calls, gathers / analyzes customer feedback, and identifies trends.
  4. Qualifies sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding.
  5. Maintains a consistent cadence with product management to ensure product roadmap alignment with customer demands.
