This role is for a Sr. Sales Specialist focused on Generative AI and Machine Learning within Amazon Web Services (AWS). The primary responsibility is to drive the adoption of AWS's AI/ML and Generative AI services by identifying customer opportunities, understanding their needs, and positioning AWS solutions. The role involves full-cycle sales, from lead identification to revenue realization, and requires building trust with various customer personas. While the role is deeply involved with AI/ML services, it is a sales function, not a hands-on building or research role.

What you'd actually do

  1. Accelerate customer adoption by defining and executing sales plays within your assigned accounts.
  2. Ideate with Line of Business and C-suite leaders, building trust with your technical expertise, and following through to help solve their most compelling business problems.
  3. Act as the front line within your accounts for all specialist customer engagement in your tech domain.
  4. Create and articulate compelling value propositions that address specific needs of your customers.
  5. Partner with the world’s biggest system integrators to deliver on customer projects.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
  • 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • Experience building and managing a healthy sales pipeline focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration
  • 3+ years of AIML sales experience

Nice to have

  • Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding
