This role is a Sr. Sales Specialist for Generative AI/ML at AWS, focusing on ISV customers. The primary responsibility is to drive adoption and revenue growth for AWS's GenAI/ML services by identifying customer opportunities, understanding their needs, and aligning them with AWS solutions. The role involves full-cycle sales engagement, building trust with various personas, and articulating the value proposition of AWS GenAI services. It requires developing sales strategies, ideating with leaders, creating compelling value propositions, and driving market expansion. While the role is deeply involved with AI products, it is a sales function, not a direct AI/ML building role.

What you'd actually do

  1. Accelerate customer adoption by defining and implementing technical domain specific sales strategies within your assigned accounts and technology domain.
  2. Ideate with Line of Business and C-suite leaders, building trust with your deep technical expertise, and following through to help solve their most compelling business problems.
  3. Act as the front line within your accounts for all specialist customer engagement in your tech domain.
  4. Create & articulate compelling value propositions that address specific needs of your customers.
  5. Build and innovate: Co-Develop sales motions on new product launches and work with product teams on the creation of innovative new services.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
  • Experience with C-level sales and strategic partnership building

Nice to have

  • Experience with end-customer sales in the cloud or software industry and a successful track record with consulting or technology partners through account management, program management, and business development
  • Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving, or experience communicating results to senior leadership
