This role is for a Sr. SAP FICO Analyst focused on Product Costing within Rivian's Global Financial Systems team. The primary responsibilities include providing technical and functional support for manufacturing accounting processes in SAP FI-CO, overseeing the design and implementation of SAP Product Costing for repetitive manufacturing, and optimizing related processes. The role requires strong experience in SAP S/4 HANA configuration, implementation, and support, particularly in product costing and its integration with other modules.

What you'd actually do

  1. Deliver technical and functional support for manufacturing accounting within SAP FI-CO, managing processes such as WIP and variance settlement, COGI analysis, material ledger, and month-end cost activities.
  2. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP Product Costing for repetitive manufacturing, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve profitability and margin analysis through data-driven insights.
  3. Establish efficient, "right-sized" processes to maximize resource productivity.
  4. Design and deploy high-quality, cost-effective solutions that address both current business requirements and future scalability.
  5. Partner with key business stakeholders to analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  6. Lead or facilitate requirements gathering, ensuring that the scope and impact of proposed changes are clearly communicated to and approved by relevant organizational stakeholders.
