Sr. Site Deployment Consultant – Condition Monitoring

This role focuses on the deployment and customer experience of Condition Monitoring (CM) sites within Caterpillar, ensuring successful setup, service execution, and customer satisfaction. It involves managing expectations, guiding the onboarding process, and validating system readiness for long-term service. The role emphasizes commercial communication, problem-solving, and relationship management to enhance team capability and efficiency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ensure all parties understand their roles and responsibilities to deliver successful CM service outcomes
  2. Facilitate and/or support all CM kickoff and transition meetings
  3. Provide onsite CM service overviews to dealers and customers using strong commercial communication
  4. Identify key organizational contacts and develop a communication plan for new CM sites
  5. Gather critical customer and dealer information to support setup and deployment activities

Skills

Required

  • Extensive commercial and change management experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with providing post-sales support
  • ability to support maintenance of hardware products
  • Basic understanding of the 5 elements of Condition Monitoring and Advisor roles and responsibilities
  • Exposure to various equipment applications (mining, quarry and aggregates, waste)
  • Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions
  • ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions
  • Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques
  • ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner
  • Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external
  • ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately
  • Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques

  • Experience with Cat Foresight, Salesforce and Microsoft applications (Power-Bi)
  • Practical application with formal change management processes
  • Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese
