Seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to architect, build, and operate infrastructure for silicon development at Annapurna Labs. This role involves creating platforms, tooling, and automation to speed up chip design cycles, working at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, HPC, and EDA. Responsibilities include developing customer-focused infrastructure, owning platform delivery and operations, and driving results through automation and observability. The role supports the development of Machine Learning Accelerators, but the core focus is on the infrastructure supporting chip development, not AI model development itself.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with silicon design, verification, emulation, and software teams to understand their development workflows, pain points, and iteration cycles.
  2. Build tooling and automation that eliminates manual toil and reduces time-to-results.
  3. Gather continuous feedback from internal customers and rapidly iterate on solutions.
  4. Benchmark infrastructure based on silicon development workflows to provide internal customers with the optimal resources for silicon development.
  5. Design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure and high-performance computing clusters using schedulers like Slurm.
