Senior Software Engineer role focused on building and integrating cutting-edge AI into Microsoft products and services within the Copilot, Agents, and Platform (CAP) group. What you'd actually do

  1. Build scalable microservices using event-driven, CQRS, and service mesh patterns.
  2. Own the full service lifecycle from design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
  3. Design data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and at-scale serving.
  4. Profile and optimize services for latency, throughput, and cost; model capacity for enterprise workloads.
  5. Partner with AI/ML, PM, and front-end teams to shape integrated product and architecture decisions.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements

Nice to have

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and customer data models
  • Deep technical understanding of large software systems, platform engineering, or developer tools.
  • Track record of building and evolving customer feedback programs at scale.
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts for workflow automation.
  • Collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proven knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure preferred).
  • Experience with large-scale systems and API design.
