  2. Develop and troubleshoot firmware running on various microcontroller platforms.
  3. Help design and establish the manufacturing and validation methods for PCBs and related sub-components.
  4. Investigate control problems at the lowest level and learn how to properly tune them.
  5. Drive decision through project planning, task delegation and leading problem solving efforts to reiterate quickly

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with embedded systems in C
  • Designing and implementing reliable, consistent, and fast motor control systems
  • Scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting
  • Embedded systems architecture, including microcontrollers, sensors, and communication interfaces (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C)
  • Real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as Zephyr or FreeRTOS
  • Debugging tools, such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
  • Software development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Desire to work in multidisciplinary teams
  • BS+ in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • Willing to travel up to 25%
