Sr. Solutions Architect, Isv Bizapps

Amazon Amazon · Big Tech · San Francisco, CA · Solutions Architect

Solutions Architect for ISVs focusing on AWS adoption, platform modernization, and AI-driven differentiation using Amazon Bedrock. The role involves advising software companies on integrating generative AI capabilities, migrating to Bedrock, and leveraging AWS Marketplace for growth.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with ISV account teams to formulate and execute technical strategies that drive AWS adoption and platform modernization.
  2. Drive adoption of Amazon Bedrock as the unified endpoint for frontier foundation models (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Meta Llama, Amazon Nova) — helping ISVs consolidate fragmented AI vendor relationships into a secure, cost-optimized access layer.
  3. Advise ISVs on migrating from direct model provider agreements to Bedrock, articulating the value of unified governance, cross-model flexibility, guardrails, and EDP drawdown.
  4. Enable ISVs to embed GenAI capabilities into their products using Bedrock Agents, Knowledge Bases, and model customization.
  5. Advise on AWS Marketplace listing strategies, private offer structures, and co-sell motions to accelerate ISV revenue growth.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
  • Strong familiarity with generative AI architectures: LLM integration patterns, RAG, agentic workflows, and the Amazon Bedrock ecosystem (Agents, Knowledge Bases, Guardrails).
  • Ability to articulate the consolidation value of Bedrock vs. direct model provider contracts: security, compliance, cost optimization, and multi-model flexibility.
  • Understanding of SaaS architecture patterns: multi-tenancy, control planes, consumption metering, and CI/CD at scale.
  • Familiarity with AWS Marketplace, ISV Accelerate, and AWS Partner Network programs.
  • Ability to connect architecture decisions to ISV business outcomes (ARR, margins, customer acquisition).
  • Experience with modern application development: containers, serverless, microservices, event-driven architectures.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience at a SaaS/ISV company (engineering, architecture, or technical leadership).
  • Hands-on experience migrating production AI workloads from direct provider APIs to Amazon Bedrock, including benchmarking and cost modeling.
  • Experience with AI developer productivity tooling (Claude Code, Amazon Q Developer, Kiro).
  • AWS certifications: (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer, or specialty).
