Amazon Amazon · Big Tech · Seattle, WA · Solutions Architect

This role is for a Sr. Solutions Architect within AWS MEGS, partnering with large entertainment companies to design and build cloud-based solutions. The role involves advising on architecture, building prototypes, and identifying/advancing generative AI and ML use cases from exploration to production. While AI/ML is a component, the core focus is on broader cloud solutions and customer engagement across various media and entertainment workloads.

What you'd actually do

  1. Customer Engagement: Work backwards from the customer to drive AWS adoption across use cases such as direct-to-consumer (DTC) streaming, ad technology, content distribution, and media processing workloads, building trusted relationships with senior leadership.
  2. Systems Architecture & Design: Advise customers on architectural decisions for cloud-based media solutions spanning distributed systems, data pipelines, personalization, and content delivery. Run technical workshops and deep-dives with engineering teams.
  3. Hands-On Development: Gather requirements, design solutions, and build working prototypes and proof-of-concepts using AWS services and partner offerings to accelerate projects. Use the latest AI developer tools to accelerate delivery and iterate rapidly.
  4. Generative AI & ML: Partner with the customer to identify and advance generative AI and machine learning use cases (such as personalization, content intelligence, operational automation), from initial exploration through production deployment.
  5. Best Practices & Thought Leadership: Develop and publish best practices, reference architectures, and technical guidance on AWS. Author whitepapers, blog posts, tutorials, and presentations. Participate in industry conferences and events to share knowledge with the broader community.
