Sr. Solutions Engineer

This role focuses on driving sales growth by providing technical expertise and architectural guidance to customers, helping them identify and implement F5 products and solutions. It involves developing technical strategies, leading complex solution designs, and acting as a subject matter expert in pre-sales activities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and implement technical strategies that support the overall sales objectives of the organization.
  2. Act as a thought leader in the industry, representing the company at conferences, webinars, and industry events.
  3. Lead the design of highly complex, integrated solutions that address the unique challenges of strategic clients.
  4. Mentor other solutions engineers, providing guidance on complex technical and strategic issues.
  5. Engage with strategic clients at the executive level to understand their long-term goals and align solutions accordingly.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years’ pre-sales experience in the IT industry
  • expertise in networking, application delivery, security, cloud and SaaS etc. technologies
  • Expert level understanding of Web Protocols and application architectures (HTTP/TLS/SSL)
  • programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Golang, etc.)
  • Kubernetes concepts and architectures
  • Advanced knowledge of Data Center, Virtualization, Cloud computing environments, Solution Performance, and Sizing
  • Expert in Solution designs for large-scale environments and Vertical Market solutions

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related areas, or equivalent level of experience
