This role supports and maintains an efficient and effective health, safety, and environmental management system for a manufacturing and research site, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations and promoting best practices.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide technical environment and safety support to site management and employees
  2. Proactive leader in planning, developing, and supporting implementation best practices and ensuring compliance with applicable local, state, federal EHS regulations, and company policies, permits, and work practices.
  3. Work with local governmental EHS agencies as needed.
  4. Develop and deliver EHS related training for shop floor employees and site leadership.
  5. Lead initiatives for incident reduction at the site.
