Required

  • Minimum 8 years of experience with security in large scale networks
  • Strong knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting).
  • Hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, EIGRP, static routing), ACLs, AAA (TACACS, RADIUS).
  • Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or other major vendor routing equipment.
  • Familiarity with Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, or other major vendor firewall equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for network security validation
  • Proficiency in network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, shell scripts, etc.)

  • Experience with logging/monitoring tools (Syslog, SNMP, GNMI, SIEM).
  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze test automation results and troubleshoot automation failures
  • Knowledge of best practices in automated testing, including test data management and reporting.

Nice to have

  • Applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) techniques in cybersecurity contexts (e.g., anomaly detection, threat hunting, behavioral analytics, or risk scoring).
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools (such as Copilot for Security, Darktrace, CrowdStrike Charlotte AI, or custom LLM integrations) to enhance detection, response, and automation workflows.
  • Understanding of LLM safety, prompt engineering, or AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act readiness) is a plus.
  • Exposure to data science fundamentals relevant to security (pattern recognition, supervised vs. unsupervised learning, model validation).
  • Awareness of AI-driven risks (e.g., adversarial ML, data poisoning, model hallucination) and their mitigation within enterprise environments.
  • Interest in leveraging GenAI for security operations, such as summarizing alerts, drafting reports, or automating incident triage.
