This role is a Senior Specialist Sales Representative for Generative AI/Machine Learning within the Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods sector, focusing on selling Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions. The individual will identify customer opportunities, understand their needs, and position AWS Generative AI and AIML services as solutions to business problems. Responsibilities include full-cycle sales, building strategic account plans, and driving adoption of AWS Gen AI services to unlock new value streams and revenue. The role requires a strong understanding of AWS AIML and Generative AI services, consultative expertise, and the ability to engage with C-level executives, Data Science, and IT personas.

What you'd actually do

  1. Accelerate customer adoption by defining and executing sales plays within your assigned accounts.
  2. Ideate with Line of Business and C-suite leaders, building trust with your technical expertise, and following through to help solve their most compelling business problems.
  3. Act as the front line within your accounts for all specialist customer engagement in your tech domain.
  4. Create and articulate compelling value propositions that address specific needs of your customers.
  5. Partner with the world’s biggest system integrators to deliver on customer projects.

Skills

Required

  • direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
  • working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage

Nice to have

  • proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business
  • identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects for global customers
  • technical or educational experience in Engineering or Computer Science
