This role is a Senior Specialist Sales Representative for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) focusing on Generative AI and Machine Learning within Amazon Web Services (AWS). The primary responsibility is to drive adoption and revenue growth of AWS's Generative AI services by identifying customer opportunities, understanding their needs, and positioning AWS solutions. The role involves consultative selling, building trust with various customer personas (Line of Business, Data Science, IT), and developing sales strategies. While the role is deeply involved with AI/ML services, the core function is sales and business development, not direct AI/ML model development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Accelerate customer adoption by defining and implementing tech domain specific sales strategies within your assigned accounts and technology domain.
  2. Ideate with Line of Business and C-suite leaders, building trust with your deep technical expertise, and following through to help solve their most compelling business problems.
  3. Act as the front line within your accounts for all specialist customer engagement in your tech domain.
  4. Create & articulate compelling value propositions that address specific needs of your customers.
  5. Build and innovate: Co-Develop sales motions on new product launches and work with product teams on the creation of innovative new services.
