This role focuses on developing, deploying, and enhancing machine learning models for yield management and advanced analytics within Ford. The Data Scientist will own the lifecycle of these models, ensuring scalability and robustness, and will translate complex data into actionable business decisions for stakeholders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the continuous improvement of complex predictive models, leveraging advanced statistical and machine learning methodologies to ensure state-of-the-art accuracy.
  2. Drive the transition of analytical frameworks into robust, production-ready assets, focusing on deployment automation, code efficiency, and operational stability.
  3. Manage the end-to-end model lifecycle, including performing regular scheduled updates and executing rapid-response ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  4. Proactively assess existing toolsets and methodologies to identify opportunities for enhancements and innovations.
  5. Translate intricate quantitative concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.
