Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Staff Electrical Engineer to support proposal efforts for the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) Site 3 (DS3) program. This role involves leading a multi-disciplined team through the design, development, and integration of major RF and Analog Subsystems. Responsibilities include proposal strategies, subcontractor management, developing labor estimates, overseeing design and development, managing the engineering technical baseline, and briefing leadership. Requires a Secret clearance and experience in RF engineering, Systems Engineering, and proposal development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborating with Program Management on proposal strategies and estimation methodology to include major subcontracts.
  2. Developing subcontractor Request for Proposals (RFPs) and evaluating subcontractor responses.
  3. Developing labor Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
  4. Oversee the development of subcontractor Statement of Works and Procurement Specifications
  5. Establishing road maps and execution timelines.

Skills

Required

  • Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
  • 14 years of experience with a Bachelors in Science, 12 years of experience with a Masters in Science degree, OR 10 years of experience with a PhD
  • Architecting and designing complex RF and Analog hardware systems
  • Supporting proposals and developing engineering technical basis of estimates (BOEs)
  • Cost Plus and Fix Price contracts
  • Technical management of major subcontractors
  • Working on at least two major design and development programs
  • Agile principles
  • Model Based Systems Engineering principles
  • Technical leadership roles
  • Managing technical risk
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically
