What you'd actually do

  1. Supporting communication system analysis, design, engineering capture, build, and integration
  2. Performing technical evaluation and analysis of supplier proposals, design data, definition of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, system integration and test execution
  3. Actively participating in Program Risk and Opportunity and Change Management processes
  4. Assisting with the development of Supplier Statement of Work and Performance Specifications Directing the activities of subordinate engineers to complete project assignments
  5. Documenting system requirements and interfaces, with traceability to platform requirements

Skills

Required

  • STEM Bachelor's Degree with 14 years of related engineering experience (or Master's with 12, or PhD with 10)
  • RF and digital system design & analysis
  • Antenna theory and operation
  • COMMS Wideband and Narrowband integration and testing
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance OR active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Access Program (SAP) access

Nice to have

  • Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • Proven leadership abilities to manage, coordinate, and oversee multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience in establishing and executing a staffing plan
  • Experience working in current SAP/SAR programs
  • MIL-STD-1553, RS-422, MIL-STD-6016 familiarity
  • System Performance Verification
  • Networking/Cyber Security Experience
