Sr Strategy & Planning Analyst, Global Consumer Strategy for Uber Eats

Uber Uber · Consumer · New York, NY +2 · Operations

This role focuses on developing and executing global consumer strategies for Uber Eats, involving data analysis, insight generation, dashboard creation, scenario modeling, and impact measurement. It requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to translate complex data into actionable business strategies and collaborate with cross-functional leadership.

What you'd actually do

  1. Deconstruct complex, ambiguous business problems regarding consumer behavior, competitive threats, and market trends into structured, manageable hypotheses. Build supporting data to inform decision-making processes.
  2. Query large-scale datasets to identify friction points in the consumer journey, evaluate the performance of global initiatives, and uncover new growth levers. Identify the right data and insights to support or evolve hypotheses. Drive data into a cohesive story that translates insight to action.
  3. Build and maintain actionable Looker/Tableau dashboards and reusable SQL workflows that give global and regional teams a real-time, dynamic view of consumer health performance and core operational KPIs.
  4. Develop flexible models to inform annual planning, incentives, and product-investment allocations; run sensitivity analyses to quantify risks and upside.
  5. Help design rigorous evaluation frameworks, A/B testing approaches, or quasi-experimental holdout methodologies to isolate and measure the true incremental impact of global consumer initiatives and promotion investments.
