Sr Strategy & Planning Associate - Catering and Large Orders

This role is focused on building and scaling Uber's Catering and Large Orders business. What you'd actually do

  1. Identify structural marketplace constraints (supply gaps, quality issues, operational friction) and define clear action plans
  2. Launch and scale targeted initiatives to improve catering supply quality, depth, and differentiation
  3. Design and run pilots and experiments to validate new supply models, merchant value propositions, and operational approaches
  4. Build repeatable processes, playbooks, and performance metrics to support sustainable expansion
  5. Partner with Product, Ops, Sales, Finance, and Regional teams to operationalize solutions

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in a high-growth, marketplace, consulting, strategy, or operations environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from idea through execution
  • Strong understanding of marketplace mechanics, including supply-demand balance and unit economics
  • Highly proficient in SQL with the ability to independently analyze data and extract actionable insights
  • Structured problem-solving skills and strong business judgment
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority
