This role is for a Senior Structures Engineer responsible for structural assessments of repairs to commercial engine components. It involves coordinating structural analysis, providing technical coaching, and working independently on solutions using classical methods and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Experience with fracture mechanics, fatigue, and specific lifing systems is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for the structural assessments of repairs to commercial engine hot and cold section rotating components.
  2. Coordinate structural analysis requirements for repairs with other ASE technical disciplines and module centers/Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPTs).
  3. Provide technical coaching and mentoring to entry level structures engineers.
  4. Work independently on structural analysis solutions when historical solutions are not available or applicable. Analysis may include both classical methods and/or detailed Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
