Visa is seeking Senior Software Test Engineers to help build Open VisaNet, their next-generation payment processing platform. This role involves developing test cases, executing tests, reporting defects, collaborating with scrum and DevOps teams, establishing quality processes, and automating test scenarios for a highly scalable, secure, and distributed microservices-based platform. The role requires experience with Agile methodologies, API testing, automation frameworks, and knowledge of distributed systems and high-frequency transactions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop test cases, test execution, and report defects throughout software development life cycle by analyzing functional and business requirements
  2. Collaborate with scrum teams in refining user stories, planning sprint work, and executing test scenarios
  3. Collaborate with DevOps teams for continuous testing and environment setup
  4. Establish quality process in place to ensure the quality expectations are always met or exceeded
  5. Maintain and/or develop test scripts to automate functional and regression test scenarios
