Sr. Sys/test Validation Engineer

This role focuses on manufacturing test solutions, automation, and validation for AMD's Datacenter Accelerated Computing products, specifically GPUs used in AI, ML, and HPC applications. The engineer will develop test strategies, debug hardware/software issues, contribute to automated diagnostic generation, and define manufacturing hardware test solutions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop test strategy for new product features including identification, specification, design and qualification of test fixtures, test equipment and diagnostic software.
  2. Review and provide feedback for DFT in the early design stages.
  3. Debug complex hardware and software issues during build phases.
  4. Contribute to automated diagnostic generation and validation infrastructure.
  5. Define manufacturing hardware test solutions that translate into methodologies and processes applicable across Board and System product segments.

  • Datacenter system test and debug background
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
