Sr. Systems Engineer - Rf Signal and Sensor Modeling Engineer

RTX RTX · Aerospace · tucson, AZ +1 · Engineering

This role focuses on developing advanced, physics-based modeling solutions in the RF domain for defense applications. The engineer will create C++ models incorporating RF phenomenology and physics concepts to support the design and testing of AI algorithms and hardware. The role involves software development, research into RF modeling, and collaboration with other teams, with a strong emphasis on C++ and Python/MATLAB for data evaluation. While the models support AI development, the core craft is RF signal and sensor modeling, not direct AI/ML model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will champion novel solutions for advanced modeling techniques.
  2. You will develop new C++ models in an extensible and maintainable fashion.
  3. You will deploy Radio Frequency (RF) phenomenology and advanced physics concepts in software implementation.
  4. You will enable our customer’s success through adoption and utilization of modeling solutions.
  5. You will work efficiently inside an established software product, across programming languages, and technical environments.
