This role is for a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) at AWS Enterprise Support, focusing on Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) customers. The TAM will act as a trusted advisor, helping organizations leverage cloud and Generative AI for drug discovery, clinical operations, and patient outcomes. Responsibilities include crafting strategic support plans, guiding customers on AI/Gen AI adoption using AWS services like Bedrock and SageMaker, navigating regulated environments (HIPAA, GxP), and providing technical guidance. The role requires influencing technical decision-makers and managing complex, mission-critical workloads.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as a trusted advisor to C suite and senior technical leaders at major HCLS enterprises
  2. Craft and execute strategic support plans aligned to customer business outcomes, from cloud migrations and SAP transformations to HPC/GPU research workloads, manufacturing modernization, and AI/Gen AI adoption
  3. Navigate multi program, multi cloud environments where compliance (HIPAA, GxP, GDPR), data sovereignty, and operational resilience are non negotiable
  4. Help customers design, deploy, and optimize AI and Generative AI workloads using services such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, HealthLake, and more
  5. Influence technical decision makers across multiple teams and business units, driving adoption of AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, SageMaker, Bedrock, HealthLake, and more

Skills

Required

  • Experience in design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications
  • Experience in external enterprise customer-facing role as a technical lead
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Presenting to both large and small audiences
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
