This role is for a Sr. Technical Internal Recruiter at Uber, focusing on scaling and supporting the internal TA program globally. The recruiter will act as a talent advisor for internal employees, manage the hiring process, develop recruiting strategies, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders. Success will be measured by timely candidate evaluation, increased cross-functional moves, reduced attrition, and regaining employee trust in the recruiting process.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as a talent advisor for internal employees at Uber
  2. Ensure that internal employees are acknowledged, evaluated, and dispositioned in a timely manner
  3. Partner and influence cross-functional stakeholders within the internal recruiting process
  4. Manage the entire hiring process from application review to offer acceptance
  5. Develop recruiting strategy to fill open positions and help build an ongoing bench of qualified candidates

Skills

Required

  • Minimum 4+ years of professional experience
  • Experience partnering and influencing stakeholders throughout the hiring process
  • Working knowledge of ATS tools and technologies

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Communications, or equivalent
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Track record of success in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to proactively identify inefficiencies and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Experience interpreting data and using it to guide hiring decisions
