Johnson & Johnson Johnson & Johnson · Pharma · Santa Clara, CA +1

Sr. Technical Product Manager for Surgical Robotics Software at Johnson & Johnson. Responsible for defining and delivering the technical vision, product roadmaps, and execution of R&D initiatives in the surgical robotics space. This role involves managing the product backlog, translating roadmap priorities into executable plans, driving end-to-end execution using Agile practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making and clear communication with leadership.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the product roadmap and platform backlog, including feature intake, prioritization, grooming, and readiness, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, technical strategy, and delivery capacity.
  2. Translate roadmap priorities into executable plans by defining quarterly objectives, developing coordinated delivery plans, and maintaining backlogs that connect long‑range strategy to day‑to‑day execution.
  3. Drive end‑to‑end execution of cross‑functional R&D initiatives by tracking work against commitments, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring predictable delivery across the product development lifecycle—from concept through design transfer and release.
  4. Lead planning, tracking, and execution cadence using Agile and program management practices (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, dependency management), leveraging these mechanisms to implement the roadmap.
  5. Partner closely with engineering, product management, UX/UI Des, and functional leaders to align scope, priorities, and timelines, proactively surface tradeoffs, and resolve execution blockers.
