Sr. Technical Program Manager, Intelligent Talent Acquisition

This role is for a Senior Technical Program Manager within Amazon's Intelligent Talent Acquisition (ITA) team. The primary focus is on reinventing the hiring process by leveraging AI systems and machine learning algorithms to improve scale, sophistication, and accuracy. The role involves defining and implementing data and web-based solutions, partnering with engineering teams, quantifying problems, estimating effort, and rolling out new systems. It also includes collaborating with research and data scientists to implement algorithms and supporting teams for operational excellence. The team uses data and predictive analytics to identify process efficiencies and measure program performance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define, and implement multiple data and web-based solutions on a global scale.
  2. Partner with engineering teams in North America and Europe to define software development principles and goals for the global ITA organizations.
  3. Quantify problems, solutions, estimate engineering effort, and roll out new systems (and updates) which adhere to said principles.
  4. Collaborate with research and data scientists to implement algorithms into your customer's daily business, and support teams to ensure operational excellence.
  5. Be an independent assessor and developer of technical talent throughout the organization.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
