Sr. Technical Program Manager, Prime Video Ads

This role is for a Sr. Technical Program Manager on the Prime Video Advertising team. The TPM will drive end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional technical programs related to advertising formats on Prime Video. Responsibilities include defining program vision and roadmap, partnering with engineering and product teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring on-time delivery of features. While the team works with machine learning-driven optimization, the core function of this TPM role is program management, not direct AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional technical programs spanning multiple teams and organizations
  2. Partner with engineering, product, design, operations, and business teams to align on goals and deliverables
  3. Communicate program status, risks, and decisions to executive leadership and key stakeholders
  4. Define program vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and technical requirements
  5. Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of program milestones and launches

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
  • Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
