This role is for a Sr. Technical Program Manager focused on building and delivering employee engagement technology products within Amazon's Workforce Solutions team. The role involves managing cross-functional technical programs from ideation to delivery, influencing technical design, and ensuring global product rollout. What you'd actually do

  1. Work with engineering, product management, operations, marketing, legal, etc. to deliver our solutions, globally.
  2. Manage complex cross team programs from ideation to delivery.
  3. Create transparency and predictability with roadmaps, planning, and partner management.
  4. Manage delivery schedules and emergent tasks while mitigating risks, managing tradeoffs, and eliminating blockers.
  5. Participate in architectural decisions, surfacing and mitigating technical risks, driving complex integrations with internal and 3rd party solutions, retiring technical debt, and identifying opportunity to create operational efficiencies.

  • Experience in technical program management
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams

  • Experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent

  • Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
