Sr. Technical Solution Sales, Fleet and B2b Mobility

This role is a Senior Technical Solution Sales position focused on Visa's Fleet and B2B Mobility products. The individual will partner with clients to translate requirements into Visa capabilities, accelerate client implementations, and support product development and sales cycles. The role involves understanding acquiring processing, technical upgrades, designing product components for fuel discounts and data, and acting as a thought leader for innovation in the mobility and fleet sector. It's a sales engineering role focused on product and customer profitability, requiring knowledge of issuer and acquiring economics, payments networks, and new technologies in the sector.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with key clients and teams to translate client requirements into Visa capabilities and product components.
  2. Work collaboratively with cluster, sales, client success and global product teams to deliver value for clients and support innovation
  3. Accelerate client implementations in acquiring and deliver solutions at scale, and champion product development workstreams in collaboration with the ecosystem.
  4. Have a detailed understanding across acquiring processing host and terminal upgrade, technical upgrades and implementations, and how to shape products for clients in different markets.
  5. Design and deploy relevant product components on fuel discounts and enhanced data to address client needs with Visa technology.

Skills

Required

  • Sales engineering experience in financial services, payment card, software or information services
  • In-depth knowledge of Authorizations, Clearing & Settlement & back-office processing
  • Good knowledge of payments network and processing services
  • Analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a complex project to determine business and customer needs, providing the best solution to meet these needs
  • Client and sales focus with proven ability to establish productive working relationships with different stakeholders
  • Product sales roles and solution design approach in the payment industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across functions and geographies in a complex matrix environment

What the JD emphasized

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of Authorizations, Clearing & Settlement & back-office processing.
  • Must have a good knowledge of payments network and processing services.
