Sr. Technical Staff

Cerebras · Semiconductors · Headquarters +1 · Software

This role focuses on post-silicon validation, testing, and debugging of Cerebras' AI chips, specifically their Wafer Scale Engines. Responsibilities include characterizing high-speed interfaces, supporting manufacturing operations, developing automated regression test scripts, and creating debug tools. The role requires a Master's degree and experience in hardware bring-up, debug, and high-speed interfaces.

What you'd actually do

  1. Post silicon validation of Cerebras Wafer Scale Engines. Test and debug issues on new silicon.
  2. Test, analyze, and characterize high-speed serial interfaces to verify compliance with hardware specifications, record performance data, and recommend design modifications to optimize functionality.
  3. Work with the silicon and operations team to test, bring-up and run burn-in on wafers scale systems.
  4. Support manufacturing operations to utilize the wafer bring up flow. Perform wafer bring-ups, diagnose and debug problems encountered.
  5. Develop and implement hardware to ensure compliance with design specifications.
