THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Electrical Validation Engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor to design the of AMD’s AI server product, you will be part of a board design team to work with cross function team to design or deliver the highest quality proposal/product to customer. You will be responsible design quality and ensure teamwork success, you and team will continue to develop, and product improve, we also encourage technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate continuous career development.
THE PERSON:
As a Electrical Validation Engineer, you will work with cross function teams (EE, SI, SW, FW) to verify electrical signals and familiar with server debug progress for electrical violations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test plan creation and report generation
High speed Signal measurement (IEEE, PCIe Gen6, XGMI, DDR5, USB, SATA...etc.)
Low speed Signal and Power Noise measurement (I3C/I2C/SMBus, SPI, SVI, RGMII, ...etc.)
Issue Investigation ability- able to debug issues for electrical violation.
Cross Function work ability – able to work with function to design AMD AI product solutions.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years relevant work experience in EV field.
- Have experience with Server/Switch/Storage signal measurement.
- Soldering skill and operate high speed test instruments (Oscilloscope, BERT, TDR)
- Self-motivated, teamwork, and good communication
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering background
