This role is a Senior Value Manager for Workday's AI platform, focusing on helping enterprise customers in Denmark and Finland understand and articulate the business value of Workday's AI and data capabilities. The role involves leading value engagements, crafting business cases (ROI, TCO), translating complex AI concepts into business outcomes, and partnering with sales teams to enable executive approvals. The individual will use AI solutions like Gemini and NotebookLM in their work.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead value engagements with prospects and customers alongside account teams, from early discovery to approval-ready value stories and investment narratives.
  2. Craft compelling, concise stories that explain the business problem, the “why now”, and why Workday: turning analysis into clear content that decision-makers can approve.
  3. Translate complex technology and AI concepts into relatable business outcomes and stories that resonate with non-technical executives.
  4. Design and facilitate discovery interviews and executive workshops with C‑level, senior business, functional and IT stakeholders to surface strategic priorities, risks, and value levers.
  5. Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis (ROI, TCO, scenario analysis, benchmarks) and package insights into simple, approval-focused artefacts (e.g. investment memo, board story, “one slide” narrative).

Skills

Required

  • 5-10 years of experience in Management Consulting, Corporate/Business Strategy, Value Engineering / Value Management, or a similar strategic advisory role to senior business stakeholders.
  • Proven experience building quantitative business cases (e.g. ROI, TCO, NPV/IRR) and presenting recommendations to executive audiences.
  • Demonstrable C‑level presence and confidence in executive settings.
  • Track record of success in roles requiring a high degree of independence, ownership, and prioritisation across multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with enterprise technology / SaaS solutions in a business value, strategy, or transformation context.
  • Experience working with AI solutions such as Gemini, NotebookLM, Sana.
  • Native fluency in Finnish or Danish and business fluency in English are required

Nice to have

  • AI & Consumption-based selling experience with the ability to identify, prioritise and frame AI use cases, and quantify value levers such as productivity, experience, risk reduction and revenue impact is a strong plus.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a strong plus.
  • Technical background is a strong plus.
  • An existing network with senior HR, Finance or IT leaders in Benelux is an advantage.
