Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a Staff Analyst for their 737 Training team. This role involves collecting, prioritizing, and validating training requirements, analyzing customer requests, developing risk mitigation strategies, and communicating training schedules and changes to stakeholders. The analyst will also produce metrics on training effectiveness and participate in enterprise initiatives related to training. The position requires experience in business operations, managing deliverables, communication, data analysis, and using Microsoft Office and data analytics tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collect, prioritize and validate requirements with training partners and managers
  2. Analyze and validate customer requests, coordinate training needs and evaluate training criteria
  3. Develop customer/partner training risk mitigation strategies and recovery plan for training issues
  4. Provide necessary facilitation for gap and/or emergent training
  5. Collaborate with customer on requirement satisfaction targets

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Operations
  • 5+ years of experience with managing and organizing multiple deliverables and deadlines with minimal direction
  • 3+ years of experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues
  • 3+ years of experience leading the development, planning, and execution of employee-related activities and initiatives
  • 3+ years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis, and presenting data
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • 3+ years of experience with Tableau or similar data analytics tools

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • Experience integrating, coordinating, and presenting developmental training programs and staffing resource needs across large organizations
  • Ability to apply systems thinking to understand inter-relationships of business decisions
  • Experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve non-technical or operational problems regarding business objectives and team efficiency
  • Experience in communicating across multiple platforms with the ability to effectively reach diverse backgrounds and levels of teammates and leadership
