Develops and provides technical support for high-speed automated machines, including PLC, safety PLC, vision systems, robot control, electrical systems, servo motion, SCADA, and complex device integration within a regulated manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include developing design specifications, commissioning and validating control software, fault-finding, and ensuring compliance with medical device standards.

What you'd actually do

  1. Development and technical support for high speed automated machines across the entire range of automation disciplines, including PLC and Safety PLC systems, Vision Systems, Robot control, Electrical systems, Servo Motion, SCADA and complex device integration
  2. Develop Functional and Detailed Design Specifications from User Requirement Specifications
  3. Commission and Validate PLC and control software as part of a highly automated, high volume 24/7 regulated production environment
  4. Fault-find complex automation equipment
  5. Work within a cross functional multi-discipline team environment supporting operations quality safety and other engineering functions to support production and deliver improvements in quality performance and product pipeline delivery.
