The role involves purchase order management, supplier coordination, problem-solving supply chain disruptions, order tracking, cross-functional collaboration with engineering and manufacturing, and data/process management. Requires a Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field, 12+ years of supply chain experience including technical procurement, ability to read technical drawings, and willingness to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA. Preferred qualifications include strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, proficiency in Excel, and experience with ERP systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to meet production and program needs.
  2. Maintain relationships with suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing.
  3. Quickly resolve supply chain disruptions, delivery delays, and quality issues to keep projects on track.
  4. Monitor and expedite orders to meet deadlines and production schedules.
  5. Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to align procurement with company goals.
  6. Maintain accurate records, track procurement KPIs, and identify opportunities to streamline processes.

Skills

Required
