Staff Chief Engineer for the Deep-Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) program, focusing on ground-based system development, deployment, and management of engineering activities to meet milestones and mitigate technical risks within an Integrated Master Schedule. Requires experience in ground radar systems, integration, and testing, with a Secret clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage the technical development and direction for all aspects of engineering on a weapon system including design, development, implementation, testing, and delivery of product to a customer.
  2. Oversee technical content for system design reviews (e.g., System Requirements Review (SRR), System Functional Review (SFR), System Design Review (SDR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), System Verification Review (SVR), and Test Readiness Review (TRR)) including entrance and exit criteria.
  3. Ensure integration of the overall technical plan within the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  4. Ensure overall technical quality and performance for all engineering content for the program.
  5. Ensure the program adheres to sound engineering processes in development, production, test, and sustainment in accordance with company policies, processes, and quality standards.

  • Experience leading large cross functional technical teams

  • Great communication skills with all levels of the team including executive leaders and the Government Customer
  • Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance
