Crusoe is an AI infrastructure company focused on powering AI workloads. This role is for a Staff Commissioning Engineer, Mechanical, responsible for ensuring the mechanical systems of their data center construction projects are commissioned flawlessly. The role involves developing and executing commissioning plans, overseeing testing, and ensuring critical infrastructure performs optimally.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans for data center construction projects, with a primary focus on mechanical systems, including coordination with electrical and control systems.
  2. Support and coordinate relationships with third party commissioning agents.
  3. Oversee and execute the commissioning process for mechanical systems, from pre-functional testing through integrated systems testing and final acceptance.
  4. Coordinate with design engineers, construction teams, and vendors to ensure seamless integration and commissioning of all systems.
  5. Conduct thorough reviews of mechanical design documents, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with commissioning requirements.

  • extensive experience in commissioning critical infrastructure, particularly data center mechanical systems
