This role is for a Staff Data Scientist focused on Marketing at Harvey, an enterprise AI company. The individual will build the marketing data science function from scratch, defining metrics, building dashboards, and developing models for campaign performance and user behavior analysis. The role requires expertise in SQL, Python/R, marketing analytics tools, and experience with modern data stacks, with a focus on driving growth and informing business investments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Embed deeply with the Marketing organization as a trusted partner, identifying opportunities to improve performance and drive growth.
  2. Define, track, and evolve core metrics across marketing and business functions, building scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks that enable data-driven decision-making.
  3. Design, implement, and evaluate models (multi-touch attribution, marketing mix modeling, incrementality) for comprehensive Marketing Channel and Campaign performance and contribution.
  4. Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to model user behavior, forecast trends, and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  5. Translate complex analyses into compelling stories, delivering clear recommendations to cross-functional partners and executives.
