What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and contribute to the design, development, and lifecycle management of innovative medical devices.
  2. Develop CAD models and engineering drawings according to company standards, including GD&T and tolerance analysis.
  3. Perform engineering analyses and simulations (including FEA) to validate and optimize designs.
  4. Design and execute mechanical testing, experiments, and prototype evaluations; analyze and present results.
  5. Participate in cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with clinical, regulatory, quality, and business goals.

Skills

Required

  • BS/MS in Mechanical, Biomedical, or related engineering
  • 4+ years orthopedic implants/instruments product development
  • Siemens NX CAD/drawings
  • GD&T
  • tolerance analysis
