What you'd actually do

  1. Engage with management and customers to understand objectives, collaborate with engineering and suppliers to formulate solutions, decompose and specify modules and perform technical oversight for design, development and integration and test of digital subsystems and their components.
  2. Providing direction and oversight to internal and external design teams
  3. Working with internal program management to develop realistic estimates for development cost, risk and schedule
  4. Developing architectures that are compatible with internal and industry standards
  5. Working with interdisciplinary teams to develop a system architecture and allocating functionality to system components such as Single Board Computers, SoCs, mixed-signal ASICs, RF ICs and FPGAs

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
  • 12 years of professional/related experience (or MS Degree and 10 years, or PhD and 8 years)
  • Secret Clearance
  • Special Program Access (SAP)
  • 10 years experience in developing digital subsystems
  • 8 years experience in a leadership capacity
  • Digital Signal Processing algorithms
  • Embedded Processors, ASIC and FPGA implementation
