Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to design and develop avionics systems for UAVs. Requires 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on avionics/UAVs, leadership skills, and expertise in analog/digital circuit design and PCB layout. Experience with avionics design standards and Altium Designer is preferred. The role requires eligibility for a U.S. Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Technical Leadership: Lead and contribute to the design and development of electrical systems for avionics modules and UAVs.
  2. Hands-on Engineering: Actively participate in the design, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, PCB layouts, and other electronic systems.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software, firmware, and mechanical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  4. Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping to develop the team's capabilities.
  5. System Testing and Validation: Oversee system-level testing and validation to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and reliability standards.
