STAFF EMULATION SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER
**THE ROLE: **
As a member of the NBIO team, you will contribute to realizing advanced designs on emulation platforms. You will collaborate closely with architecture, IP design, design verification, post-silicon, and firmware teams to ensure successful first-pass silicon delivery.
**THE PERSON: **
A successful candidate collaborates with senior designers, and demonstrates accuracy, attention to detail, independence, communication, and problem-solving skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Architect and design scalable emulation test benches, develop build flows, and create tools to enhance project execution efficiency.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of emulation methodologies.
Demonstrate experience implementing synthesizable models in SystemVerilog.
Define comprehensive emulation test plans and oversee their execution, including both functional and performance testing.
Lead debug activities in collaboration with designers and verification engineers.
Support and empower the emulation team in executing defined test plans.
Collaborate closely with IP design and verification teams on test planning and task execution.
Conduct verification of cutting-edge features and protocols.
Integrate and bring up third-party accelerated verification IPs.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
System and subsystem design experience
FPGA flows, synthesis, PnR expertise
RTL design, verification, embedded firmware skills
Proficient in C/C++, SystemVerilog
Verilog/SystemVerilog design background
Strong debugging/problem-solving abilities
Skilled with waveform analyzers
Emulation/prototyping experience
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- PhD, BSc or MSc in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering
