What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with multiple disciplines to meet program deadlines
  2. Drive concurrent engineering principles within the team
  3. Mentor/develop process engineers within case process engineering team
  4. Continuing WEI process and machine development and optimization
  5. Peer review new and modified planning, PFMEA’s, CONOPS, MBOMs and other Process Engineering deliverables

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 12 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 10 years of professional experience – OR – PhD with 8 years of professional experience
  • Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience in case processing
  • Experience with Design of Experiment (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), 6 sigma concepts for process development and control
  • Ability to motivate and guide teams and activities without having formal “ownership” of the staff supporting those activities
  • Experience in MS Office software applications and other NG software (eg. ESI, Doc Shop, TCUA, etc.)

  • Deep hands-on experience with the case manufacturing process
  • Proven ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team
  • Expert level of command of media to meet deliverables
  • Proficiency in leading teams to deliver complex projects on time
  • Translating long-term program goals into a technical roadmap that anticipates future growth
  • Facilitate alignment across multiple engineering disciplines to ensure project transparency and goal consistency
  • Skilled at steering multiple complex initiatives simultaneously from conception to delivery
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing Techniques
  • Experience working with energetic materials and processes.
