Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead and mature manufacturing and production capabilities for low-volume, high-value products in a regulated environment. Responsibilities include developing processes, supporting production runs, interfacing with engineering, maintaining quality systems (ISO 9001), and managing production infrastructure.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop, document, and maintain manufacturing processes, procedures, and work instructions for mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical assemblies.
  2. Support small production runs of high-value products, including occasional hands-on involvement to validate and refine manufacturing processes.
  3. Establish and continuously improve production workflows, tooling, fixtures, and assembly methods.
  4. Act as the primary manufacturing interface for engineering teams, providing input on DFM, and DFA.
  5. Operate within and help maintain an ISO 9001 compliant manufacturing environment.

Skills

Required

  • 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or production engineering
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems
  • Demonstrated experience developing manufacturing processes, work instructions, and production documentation
  • Experience supporting low-volume, high-complexity, high-value products
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Nice to have

  • Proven ability to establish or scale a production environment
  • Familiarity with ERP, PLM, and PDM systems
