What you'd actually do

  1. Requirements development, analysis, maturation, and implementation, translating customer requirements into software specifications
  2. Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate avionics and mission subsystems to meet platform mission objectives
  3. Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams, including hardware, software, and firmware engineers
  4. Support for performance compliant design of Electronic Warfare algorithms on next generation multifunction RF sensor
  5. Support for novel solutions amid implementation constraints such as system interfaces, real time digital resource management, hardware limitations

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline AND 12 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline AND 10 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. AND 8 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering
  • Knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands)
  • Experience in RF/EW applications, including developing and applying models in Matlab, Python, and/or C/C++, along with experience in tracking and algorithm development.
  • Experience in decomposing, deriving, allocating and tracing requirements from system to component level
  • Experience with developing supplier documentation, performance-based specifications, and statements of work
  • Experience in supplier/subcontract management
  • Experience with working on a multidisciplinary team and writing technical proposals
  • Experience designing, developing, integrating, and/or testing RF equipment for airborne platforms
  • Familiarity with 1 or more RF sensing modalities and their applications.
  • Experience with digital signal processing
  • Knowledge of system engineering design methods, including requirements analysis and flow-down, specification derivation and interface control documentation
  • An active U.S. Government issued Top Secret SCI Security Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
