Staff Systems Engineer focused on requirements decomposition, verification planning, and management within a defense systems engineering context. The role involves developing and coordinating verification plans and records, working with SMEs, and supporting system test engineers. Experience with DOORS and managing technical requirements for suppliers is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Developing Requirement Verification Plans (RVPs) from approved requirements and design reviews for new and changed features.
  2. Coordinating reviews and approvals of the RVPs for Verification Methods
  3. Supporting the collection & review of the Verification Data Products from System Test to ensure the verification date meets the intent and scope of the RVS/RVP
  4. Develop Requirement Verification Records (RVRs) and coordinated internal Systems Engineering and Integration review and customer review and approval of the RVR.
  5. Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Responsible Engineers (REs) to gather analysis and data for requirements with Verification Method of Analysis or Inspection
